Call for Papers for JULP no. 3/2018 - Urban Challenges

The Journal of Urban and Landscape Planning — JULP welcomes contributions to its third issue, entitled Urban Challenges (JULP 3/2018). Urban challenges are manifold, ranging from information asymmetries and technological oligopolies to democratic deficits. Such variety entices rewarding research efforts, while at the same time providing ample room for reflexive analysis on the current state of affairs that govern urban management and planning practices.
Against this background, we welcome two types of papers for this issue:
1. Papers presenting innovative case studies or results from collaborative efforts between researchers and practitioners;
2. Papers tackling methodological issues that seek to advance understanding in the field of technologically and socially driven urban management.
All articles are published in English, following a peer review process. Submission guidelines are available at:

The submission deadline is March 30, 2018.

The journal is currently indexed in the following databases and directories: List of Open Access Architecture and Urban Planning Journals, Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory, Index Copernicus International, Directory of Research Journals Indexing, ResearchGate, as well as the Central and Eastern European Online Library.
At a later stage, we aim to start the indexing procedures for the following databases and directories: Cabell’s, Genamics, SHERPA/RoMEO,Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EBSCO and ProQuest.
